European Exhibitor ENBI Plastics & Silicones showcase the parts essential to their application process.
For one the most renowned brands in the world for copiers and document solutions we have developed a solution for an existing part that they use in their application.
The complete part was originally developed with several moulded parts which was combined with a complex sealing method. When our engineers looked at this assembled product they saw a unique opportunity to combine materials and skip assembly.
The total development of this product was challenging since the requirements and specifications were at a very high level. Together with our customer and an excellent understanding of both processes and materials we managed to re-develop the part to it’s current form and by doing so, the assembly of the part was made much easier.
The quality of the total assembly improved making that the total cost dropped. A perfect example of combining materials and transforming multiple parts into one.

The left and middle pictures show the separate moulded parts in PPS. The right picture shows the LSR over-moulded part. LSR is being used for sealing (thus saving assembly of O-rings) and keeping the parts together (thus saving on gluing).
